Jasper Stevens | Architect - Partner

Partner architect bridging architecture, interior, and scenography, Jasper explores how material and atmosphere shape the public experience of space.

Jasper holds a Master of Science in Engineering: Architecture from Ghent University, complemented by studies in Urban Design at the Universitat Politècnica de València and postgraduate research in Integral Product Development at KU Leuven. Before co-founding FELT in 2014, he worked with several international offices including Wiel Arets Architects in Amsterdam and 360architecten in Ghent. His multidisciplinary background forms the basis for a design approach that seamlessly connects architecture, interior, and scenography.

Within FELT, Jasper leads projects that range from public buildings and housing to exhibitions and spatial installations. His work explores how narrative, material, and atmosphere can enhance the public experience of space. Notable examples include the Leuven City Hall extension, educational projects such as De Kleurdoos and De Linde schools, and smaller key projects like A Simple House and the Library Pavilion. His scenographic works — for institutions such as Bozar, M Leuven, and the Flanders Architecture Institute — demonstrate a refined sensitivity to context and storytelling across scales.

Among his most recognised projects are Villa Kameleon, nominated for the Belgian Building Award, and De Linde school, shortlisted for the EU Mies Award. Recent works include the Watersportbaan tower in Ghent, the Olijf housing project for AG Vespa, and the Arts Campus in Asse — all exemplifying his interest in the intersection between architecture and civic identity.

Beyond practice, Jasper contributes actively to the architectural field through teaching, lectures, and exhibitions. He has been a jury member and guest lecturer at KU Leuven and UAntwerpen, and teaches at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture (NL). His work has been presented in Architectuurboek Vlaanderen, A+, Bauwelt, and Composite Presence at the Venice Biennale, reflecting an ongoing engagement with the cultural and conceptual discourse of architecture.
